Nick Lange is an independent artist based in Edmonton, Alberta. His work spans multiple mediums from music producing to filmmaking, showcasing a diverse style influenced by storytelling.

From a young age, Nick studied classical performance and composition. In high school, he earned an Associate Diploma in piano from the Royal Conservatory of Music. At this time he was also active in the Edmonton Jazz scene, playing and composing for big bands and combos. Nick then went on to graduate from MacEwan University with a diploma in jazz saxophone performance. 

Nick has performed with artists such as Arlo Maverick, Tea G, Euphoria Band, and Free Golf Clubs at venues across the city, including the Yardbird Suite, Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, Winspear Centre, Festival Place, The Rec Room, 99ten, Round 2, Polar Park and CO*LAB. He has played at several festivals such as the TD Edmonton International Jazz Festival, Edmonton’s Heart of the City, and Drayton Valley’s Sasquatch Gathering.

Nick has produced for local musicians such as Acruzinnn, Lil Shanks, YungestJa, Gareth Gilliland, Honey Ham Jam, and Megan Lange (his sister). He contributes mixing, mastering, and songwriting credits to the majority of the songs he produces.

As a solo artist, Nick has released four singles. He has been featured on CBC Radio and CJSR. Nick’s sound blends elements of jazz, classical, indie, pop, and hip hop.
